Submit a report for the UPRThe review of a country during the Working Group is based on three reports:
Anyone is allowed to send information to the OHCHR for Submissions by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations have to follow General Guidelines to be taken into account.
What should submissions include?The ‘UN Handbook for Civil Society’ suggests that submissions should: Be no longer than 5 pages or, in the case of larger coalitions of stakeholders, 10 pages; Cover, as a maximum, a four-year period; Be written in an official United Nations language, preferably English, French or Spanish; Provide a short paragraph with information on the objectives and work of the organisation making the submission; Be submitted in a common word-processing format, with paragraphs and numbered pages; Include an introductory paragraph summarizing the main points in the submission; Include key words relating to your submission (e.g children); Not reproduce concluding observations and recommendation of treaty bodies, or special procedures. But reference can be made to the extent of the implementation of them; Not quote or annex reports from other organisations.
